Professional Sports Drug Test Collector

JOB OVERVIEW Affordable On-Sites is seeking a part-time/long- term contract Professional Sports Drug Testing Collector. The Collector is responsible for collecting urine and/or blood specimens at on-site locations for professional athletes, according to established protocols.

These tests average 15-25 hours per month and will be conducted in the Ashburn, VA area.

Tests are typically conducted in the early morning (6:00 AM-11:00 AM).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide excellent service to our clients and maintain strong, positive working relationships and communication as part of a team-centered work environment.
• Work closely with other members of the Drug Testing team to maintain continuity and quality of services.
• Adhere to client collection protocols.
• Follow and comply with clients’ drug-testing programs and protocols.
• Provide clients with quality specimen collection.
• Measure and record specific gravity (SG) for urine samples per client protocol.
• Facilitate movement of drug-testing supplies, staff and specimens to and from testing sites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve collection issues at site of testing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Successful applicant must pass pre-employment background check(s) and drug test.
• Working and operational knowledge of I-Pad.
• Strong organizational skills required.
• Ability to handle multiple projects required.
• Excellent communication skills (written/oral/listening) individually and in small/large groups.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience in specimen collection preferred.
• Experience in Phlebotomy.
• Experience in working with Professional Sport Athletes.
