Product Manager, Airport Experience

Job Summary: The Product Manager – Customer Experience will be one of several contributors to the overall idealization, research, design, advocacy, business case development and implementation of meaningful, innovative and relevant experiences to the airport portion of the customer journey. The successful candidate will be able to deliberately view the customer experience from the eyes of the customer, while also using competitive intelligence, best practices and a passion for the airline industry to inform recommendations.

He/she will also manage (anticipate, identify, evaluate, prioritize and recommend) development and implementation of airport and other experiential initiatives domestically and internationally. Project manages these initiatives from idealization through to delivery and execution by liaising with various constituents both inside and outside of Delta. Travel may be required. Practices safety conscious behaviors in all operational process and procedures.

Job Qualifications: BA/BS preferred; MBA and/or 3+ years of airline experience preferred. Strong analytical, project management and communications (written and verbal) skills required. Customer-centric orientation crucial. Must be able to lead and manage cross-functional, matrix environment and projects. Preparation of executive level summaries. Strong presentation skills, including to executive management required. Strong interpersonal teamwork and communication skills required. Ability to become subject matter expert on various assigned product areas. Interest in strategic thinking when it comes to customer-facing product choices/decisions. Must be performing satisfactorily in present position.
