Product Development Intern

Job Purpose:

Hands on opportunity to learn about product development in Engineering in the food/process industry. The interns focus will be on pattern & casting technology as well as machining technology.

Essential Functions:

• Assist in research and development of component parts.
• Assist with different experiments in the test lab and fabrication shop.
• Writing reports as well as creating and maintaining spreadsheets.
• Create drawings using 3D modeling.
• Document procedures and assist with photography when needed.
• Entering data into ERP system.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Completed at least Sophomore year of college.
• 3.0 GPA or higher preferred.
• Computer proficient, Microsoft office skills.
• 3D Modeling experience preferred, highly preferred Inventor knowledge.
• Comfortable using hand tools and small power tools such as wrenches & hand drill.
• Willing to learn Encompix data entry process.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e. without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is located.
