Product Designer (UI Design + Prototyping)

Match’s creative team is looking for a mid to senior level Product Designer to create user centered experiences from the ground up.

You’ll work mainly on mobile apps but also touch web; mobile and desktop, and have creative input into the functionality and usability of our products.

We’re looking for someone with a healthy mix of UI design, UX know-how, and rapid prototyping experience to help bring our ideas for new products, features, and ground-breaking user experiences to life.

What’s my day-to-day?

• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, product owners, and developers to design and prototype the most impactful improvements to our existing, new, and yet to be discovered experiences.
• Translate wireframes and whiteboard sketches into high-fidelity mockups
• Prototype mobile and web product features, icons, animations, and experiences
• Design UI assets for native mobile and web apps
• Brainstorm ideas for UI/UX, iterate often
• Design multiple projects on parallel timelines

What skills are we looking for?

• 2 – 5 years mobile/web design experience
• A command of web and mobile UI/UX best practices
• Prior experience with rapid prototyping tools for mobile
• Experience creating, maintaining, or working within a Design System
• A team player who knows that great work can’t be done in isolation
• A portfolio that makes our entire team “wish they had thought of that”
• Knowledge of Sketch and/or Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to visualize and execute the creation of an experience from concept to implementation.
• Diplomatic skills to handle external feedback with a positive attitude

• Involvement with setting up and/or gathering data from user testing
