Process Engineer

The Manufacturing Process Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing new processes as well as analyzing and improving processes to achieve quality and cost improvements.

$50-$70K

The successful candidate will have:

• 3 – 10 years experience in a high volume manufacturing environment, preferably involved in the automotive industry.
• B.S. in Engineering, preferably with some background in chemical processing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze and troubleshoot process problems, making continuous and permanent improvements.
• Develop new processes and tooling to provide quality improvements and cost reductions.
• Support and maintain quality systems including internal audits, calibrations and SOPs.
• Interface with customers to support quality objectives and develop new business.
• Develop and maintain process documentation.

Skills Necessary:

• Project management skills; analytical and problem solving ability.
• Automotive quality discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and MS Project.
• Strong hands-on mechanical process knowledge.
