Process Control & Automation Project Manager

Overview:

Lead and manage internal and customer-facing communication on projects surrounding Emerson Process Management Distributed Control Systems, various PLC Systems, and related industrial process instrumentation. DCS Systems include DeltaV, PRoVOX, RS3 and related AMS software. Programmable Logic Controllers include primarily Allen Bradley and Modicon. Flow Computers include ROC and Bristol.

Job Description:

This position requires the individual to lead full-scale of project plans and executions. This jobs calls for being able to initiate/manage cross-functional teams and multi-disciplinary projects. Excellent critical thinking, decision making and problem solving skills is essential to working in this environment

Education:

• Preferred: Related Engineering or Computer Science Bachelor’s degree, or Associate / Technical Trade degree, or equivalent years of directly-related experience.
• Experience:
• 1-5 years’ experience in related field

Candidates should have the following experience:

• Leading the operational, financial and technological aspects of projects based on timelines and work plans.
• Managing all aspects of the project business plan and budget.
• Create and maintain project schedule (software: Microsoft Project). Schedule to encompass tracking total project deliverables, including at minimum hardware and services key dates.
• Define and prepare project responsibility assignment matrix (RACI matrix). RACI matrix to define at minim
• Participate in internal hand-off from sales phase to implementation phase. Responsible for developing list of hand-off deliverables from sales team to execution team.
• Responsible / coordinate for any necessary drawings/documentation needed for projects (system architecture drawings, server cabinet drawings, cable schedule, …) (Software: Visio)
• Communicating intensively with clients, sub-contractors and vendors to establish cordial/effective working relationship
• Track project deliveries using project management tools.
