Portfolio Analyst

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the

following:
Researches and

examines credit risks, assess credit history to determine the creditworthiness

of existing and potential bank customers

Manages a

commercial loan portfolio which includes conducting reviews of existing

relationships and renewal of maturing loans

Assists in the

review and development of loan structure for Commercial Loans

Makes

recommendations for structure of commercial loan transactions and assists loan

officers in writing loan requests

Manages individual

loans within the Bank’s participation portfolio of Fortune 1000 companies

Handles national

account relationship which require analysis and communication with agent banks

Follows up with

customers for additional financial/company/industry information for inclusion

into loan memorandum; contacts customers to clear documentation exceptions

Assists in the

renewal and collection of loans

Assists in the

maintenance and organization of credit files

Keeps abreast of

new developments in the field of commercial lending and changing government regulations

Complies with

established work schedule and exceed all established position’s goals,

objectives, production, quality metrics, and expectations.

Assists with the

development and update of procedures, policies, and processes.

Assists with

creating and maintaining a positive team atmosphere, as well as, assist with

maintaining a clean and professional work environment.

Adheres to all

policies, procedures, processes, bank’s practices, guidelines, expectations,

laws, and regulations.

Demonstrates

consistent professional appearance, image, ethics, integrity, demeanor, and

represents the CTB Brand.

Leads initiatives,

adds value, and supports the Bank’s vision, core values, business principles,

goals, and objectives.

Performs other

duties and tasks as assigned in a positive manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum (2) years in

a commercial lending environment of a financial institution

Bachelor’s degree

in finance, accounting, economics, or related field

Superior customer

service and telephone skills with the ability to provide amazing customer

experiences, as well as, establish positive and productive working relationships

across business lines in a manner that enhances the overall working

environment.

Excellent

communication; detailed-oriented and creative with ability to communicate

clearly, concisely, tactfully, and effectively

Must be

professional and with the ability to consistently maintain positive composure

and demonstrate professional appearance, image, demeanor, and represents the

CTB Brand.

Ability to

effectively present information and respond to questions, inquiries, and

concerns from customers, employees, and others using independent judgement,

tact, and discretion.

Proficient in bank

lending policy, financial statement analysis software or related credit

preparation software

Ability to

understand accounting principals and financial ratio calculations; the ability

to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics and apply

concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical

situations.

Ability to

effectively handle sensitive matters and maintain confidential information in a

trustworthy manner.

Must be flexible

with the ability to move from one job to another quickly, handle interruptions

and still accomplish all tasks and goals.

Ability to

demonstrate self-control, adaptable to changes and work in a high volume

environment.

Ambitious and

assertive team player with a strong work ethic, high personal integrity,

positive behavior, with the ability to work both independently and effectively

with others.

Proficient using

advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, graphs, spreadsheets, tables, etc.), Word, PowerPoint,

Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to create letters,

effective written communications and reports.

Good presentation,

planning, interpersonal, relationship building, organizational, and

mathematical skills.

Quick and accurate

data entry skills with the ability to operate standard office equipment.

Ability to read,

analyze, and interpret policies, procedures, guidelines, and other information,

solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.

Ability to define

problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make

recommendations to increase efficiency and productivity.

Exceptional time

management and creativity with the ability to analyze workflow, demonstrate a

sense of urgency, handle diverse workload, and set priorities to meet

deadlines.

Ability to take

initiative, learn quickly, use good judgment, makes sound business decisions,

comprehend and retain large amounts of detailed information, follow directions and

instructions.

Reliable with the

ability to consistently produce accurate and organized work with minimal

supervision.

Must be a responsive

self-starter who is self-motivated, accountable, reliable with the ability to

produce results, meet all established goals, objectives, expectations, and

comply with all bank policies, procedures, regulations, guidelines, and laws.

Ability to comply

with established work schedule, handle all job functions and tasks effectively
