PICK Basic Programmer Plus Web Development

Programming in PICK Basic in a Unix platform.

Requirements:

Pick Programming MANDATORY – Minimum 2 years required.
XML for web/database interface to handle custom software requests with or without web interface via XML programming
Angular a Plus
PHP knowledge mandatory
Unix / Linux O/S knowledge with shell scripting experience
Research, design, developing, testing, debugging and troubleshooting of software to meet the organization’s requirements.
Ensuring software meets standards and technical specifications.
Work directly with senior programmer and operations manager to write and design software for projects or enhancements to existing programs.
Developing test plans to verify logic of new or modified software.
Taking ownership of assigned projects and sees them through to completion in a timely manner a must.
Ability to communicate effectively and detailed in writing and/or verbal, and be able to adapt communication style to the audience.
Stays abreast of technical trends and new development to maintain current skills, remaining current with industry standards.

Qualifications / Education:

Associate’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 2 years work experience is required.
Minimum 2 years working with one of the following Multivalue databases: Pick, UniVerse, UniData.
An understanding of object oriented programming concepts; development Angular, XML and PHP.
Previous IT experience working with CRM, Web Management and accounting systems is preferred.
Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in collaborative or independent work situations with minimal supervision.
