PHP/MySQL Developer

Tiger Schulmann’s, the leading provider of Martial Arts instruction in the United States, is seeking a full-time mid-to-expert level web developer to join our development team and work closely with our lead developer on site in our North Jersey HQ. Tiger Schulmann’s Martial Arts (www.tsk.com) has been in existence since 1984 and has 46 locations in 5 states.

This is a term position for approximately six months to 1 year with the possibility of a permanent position.

Responsibilities include:

• Working with our team of in-house and remote developers to improve the current functionality of our web based membership application
• Building out new modules that will expand the functionality of the application

Requirements:

• Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, general web functions and standards
• Expert knowledge of PHP and MySQL 5+ years
• Expert knowledge of HTML, Javascript and CSS
• Expert knowledge of business intelligence software
• Usability and User Experience Design
• Front end and Symfony experience a plus
• Portfolio Samples
• Must provide salary history and requirements
