PHP Developer

We lead the market by providing unique cloud-based productivity and communications software applications that empower users to more effectively communicate over the internet. Our software and other products are principally for Japanese and Chinese-speaking markets. The applications within the suite range from an online application for learning English to a voice over IP phone service and a cloud based storage service for documents.

What will you be doing?

As PHP Developer, you will develop unique digital products and cloud-based applications that empower users to more efficiently and effectively communicate over the Internet. You will own the product development of features from ideation, design and implementation, through to release. We are always building and upgrading, giving you plenty of challenges and opportunities to learn and advance your skills.

What you need for this opportunity?

• 2+ years of web development
• 2+ years of experience with OOP and MVC frameworks
• Proficiency in PHP5, Javascript/jQuery, HTML5, CSS
• Experience working with relational databases (i.e. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, etc)
• Experience with revision control (i.e. git, svn, etc)
• Experience with web services (i.e. SOAP, REST, etc)
• Experience working with external API (i.e. Facebook API, Google Maps API, etc)

Bonus points if you have:

• Knowledge and skill programming in other languages. (i.e. Java, C, C++, etc)
• Experience with Laravel 4/5
• Experience with Javascript frameworks (i.e. AngularJS, Ember.js, etc)
• Experience with LAMP administration
• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environment
• Japanese/Chinese fluency
