People & Culture Manager

The P&C Manager will assist the Director of People & Culture with the day to day P&C operation and will ensure proper operation in the absence of the DOPC. The P&C Manager is a partner in driving the hotels annual goals, as well as, the Culture Champion with a focus on ambassador relations. Will also act as a liaison with hotel learning and development team, Corporate P&C and Payroll Team. Will also, foster and develop a recruiting network and community relations. Will assist with the interpretation of policy, procedures and benefits. This position requires a highly motivated, people focused individual to develop robust and effective people processes and cultivating a value-driven culture. The P&C Manager will assist with developing and driving key processes that facilitate a dynamic and engaged hotel leadership team through coaching, advising and problem solving as collaborative partners.

JOB RESPONISIBILITIES

  • Promote & lead the development of a strong branded culture representing the Portrait, Path and P.R.I.D.E. (Core Values) of the hotel while maintaining the hotel’s profit chain philosophy based on Ambassador / Guest / Ownership “AGO”
  • Develop Campaign of Communication
  • Liaison with Learning and Development
  • Assist with driving hotel Annual Goals based on “AGO”:
  • Drive Brand awareness by developing a Recruiting Network and Community Relations
  • Drive Ambassador Relations culture with annual calendar events
  • Accountability, Coaching and Progressive Discipline
  • Schedule and coordinate volunteer events
  • Track/Monitor Individual Development Plans Process
  • Assist GM and DOPC to produce Monthly Meeting Agenda for All Leader Staff Meeting
  • Attend Departmental meetings for P&C 5 minute message or longer based on leaders requests
