Payroll Staff Accountant – Work From Home

OF DUTIES-

Payroll Accountant

possesses a solid background in

payroll processing, accounting and ad-hoc reporting based on internal and

external customer needs. This individual is responsible for reconciling

accounts related to payroll, month end balancing activities and year end close.

SUPERVISOR –

Accounting

SUPERVISES – n/a

DUTIES INCLUDE,

BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
1. Reconciles payroll liability accounts as

assigned.

2. Reconciles Salary and Time Off Accrual

accounts.

3. Performs weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual

accounting tasks as assigned.

4. Provide assistance with education and

training of reconciliation software to facility personnel.

5. Assists manager and QA technician with

internal and external audit requests.

6. Bank

reconciliations.

7. Review

payroll in BSI Tax Factory software for taxation errors.

8. Proactively

identifies and researches potential issues and recommends courses of action.

9. Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct”

philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”.

10. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE,

SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Strong

organizational skills.

Excellent

oral and written communication skills.

Represent

the organization with positive behaviors.

Knowledge

of or ability to learn the payroll accounting.

Demonstrated

expertise in PC-based software, especially spreadsheets.

Deliver

strong customer service to all customers.

Ability

to meet deadlines and shift priorities as needed.

EDUCATION –

Bachelor’s

Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field strongly preferred, but not

required.

EXPERIENCE –

3 years relevant

experience. Trintech experience is a plus but not required. Must be

intermediate in Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel. Intermediate skills in Access

and Business Objects are a plus but not required.
