Introduction
As a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing, developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients’ business environment and achieve business results.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Expert knowledge of SAP Payroll Processes and transactions

Working knowledge of SuccessFactors Employee Central

Experience with Payroll incident troubleshooting and management

Ability to effectively communicate with the managers and employees in order to efficiently triage the indent resolution.

Prepare & Upload data where required

Daily validation and audit of Org structure data during Hypercare as data are changed by the business

Assist Payroll, Run and other HCM groups with Payroll reports,

handholding on query creation and set up variants.

Assist in SAP based report generation and documentation

Assist with restructures of organisation management post go live

Assist the ongoing project with payroll data validation, transactional data identification, extraction of data for testing, executing payroll testing and performing results validation during payroll testing cycles

Hands on experience on validation processes through payroll reports during the payroll process

Working knowledge of Payroll Control Center operations of Payroll Administrator

Experience with Ad Hoc or Off Cycle Pay Processing

Ability to identify and suggest the improvements in existing processing work instructions

Create documentation suitable for internal systems control and end users which include functional and technical specifications, BPP’s, and training materials.

Prepare test plans and scripts and perform unit, integration, and regression testing. Coordinate and drive end-user testing.

Assist management in planning future business systems improvements.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Bachelor’s degree in related field with 5+ years’ experience

5+ years hands-on functional configuration experience: Canadian payroll; SuccessFactors Employee Central; Integrations between Employee Central, Time and Payroll.

Functional knowledge in ECC 6.0 HCM modules

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Experience working on fast paced project teams.

Ability to take business requirements from concept to production.

Demonstrated initiative in recognizing opportunities for improvement and efficiency

Collaborate with partners effectively; experience working with 3rd party consultant teams

Experience with business and process modeling methodologies and tools

Working knowledge (end-user) of SAP HR/Payroll including payroll wage types, features, , 3rd party payments, tax reporting, Posting to Finance

Strong knowledge of SAP HR sub-module including Personnel Administration, Organization Management, Benefits Management, Time & Attendance etc
