Payroll GL Compliance Specialist

Responsibilities and Qualifications:
The Payroll GL Compliance Specialist will be responsible for all GL postings and account reconciliations within the Payroll Department. This includes the monthly bank reconciliation, payroll intercompany cash reconciliations, payroll GL account reconciliations and routine audit validation.

Essential Requirements

• A solid understanding of general ledger rules and payroll accounting
• Acute attention to detail, process and organization
• Intermediate Excel and MS Office skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Position Responsibilities

• All Accounting functions within the payroll department
  • Review and process payroll GL’s for each Platform including the corporate office
  • Monthly reconciliations
  • Monthly reporting to Corp Finance Department
  • Follow payroll accounting standards
  • Reconcile and post all ACH and wire transfers from payment services
  • Work with the Controllers with any GL issues, changes or concerns
  • Practice continuous improvement
  • Other responsibilities that may be assigned by your supervisor
