Patient/Visitor Liaison

St Vincent’s 119 Health & Wellness – Hoover, AL

Schedule will be rotating and will include weekends.

As an Associate with St. Vincent’s Health System-AL, you will have the opportunity to act as a liaison between guests, staff and patients to respond to patient and guest information inquiries.

Responsibilities:

Screen guests for COVID exposure by asking a series of questions and checking temperature.

Receives, screens, routes and/or responds to all incoming inquiries for information, directions or concerns.

Receives guest suggestions and complaints and escalates through proper channels.

Provides patient information in compliance with The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements and organizational privacy policies.

Identifies and reports issues of safety and maintenance.

Assists in improving patient satisfaction while keeping volunteer office management informed of potential problems. Anticipates family’s needs and resolves issues before they become a major source of concern.

American Heart Association (AHA) BLS must be valid for 90 days post start date or must be renewed prior to start date.

Education:

High school diploma or GED required
