Part-Time Workshop & Presenter Assistant

The Workshop & Presenter Assistant is a part-time position, working 8-10 workshops (24-30 days) per year working Thursday – Saturday.

The Workshop & Presenter Assistant is responsible for on-site logistics and presenter support for company sponsored workshops, including on-site hotel and vendor communication, material inventory and organization, product orders, registration tables, and post workshop audit and provides support to the on-site presenter.


What you’ll be doing!

  • Complete on-site workshop logistics for company sponsored workshops, including meeting room, registration and A/V set up, material inventory and organization, product ordering, and ensuring all on-site pre, during and post workshop set-up, and logistics are done correctly.
  • Annual multi-state travel to support the on-site presenter and conduct on-site workshop logistics at a range of 24-30 days per year (8-10 weekends per year), working Thursday – Saturday. Answer on-site questions regarding registration, materials, ordering, and general company information.
  • Maintain robust knowledge of curriculum, products, services, and customer base.
  • Complete post audit workshop, which includes communication on inventory returned to warehouse, any damaged/missing products and customer and presenter questions, and email to the Workshop Coordinator.

What you will bring to the job!

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; B.A. or B.S. strongly preferred
  • Experience in meeting/event planning and logistics strongly preferred
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once while completing quality work on a timely basis
  • Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with vendors, customers and workshop attendees
  • Experience with company materials and curriculum preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends
  • Ability to travel:
    • Approximately 50-63 travel days per year
    • Approximately 100% of working time
