Part Time-Junior Financial Analyst

Position Summary/Purpose:

The primary focus of this position is to provide data and analysis to senior management by detailing business performance and analyzing future projections for the business.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and analysis of the forecast and annual plan
• Analyze financial and operational results versus forecast and plan, investigate variances and communicate findings to management team
• Collaborate and coordinate with other departments to gather necessary data to conduct analyses
• Develop and maintain Hyperion Planning and Excel models and analyses to aid in the validation of existing forecasts, support strategic initiatives and help review critical financial decisions
• Perform financial benchmarking for service center and field leadership by analyzing current and past trends in key performance indicators
• Regularly perform ad-hoc analysis as required
• Other duties as assigned

Experience/Education

• Bachelor’s degree or working towards a degree in, Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred.
• Experience in financial analysis
• High degree of attention to detail and organization
• Works well in collaborative / team environment
• Strong Excel and modeling skills required
• Knowledge of Hyperion Planning and Essbase preferred but not required
• Communicate clearly: both verbal and written
