Part-Time Junior Accountant

OVERVIEW

The New York office is seeking a Junior Accountant to assist in the processing of invoices and Royalty Income:

• Process all payable invoices on a weekly basis
• Recording Royalty Income by Artist
• Preparing Artist spending and Budget tracking reports
• Assisting the CFO and Controller with various duties including expense reports, weekly packages and other administrative tasks as called upon.
• Reconciling Bank Accounts, Reconciling intercompany accounts
• Assisting the SONGS staff in the A&R, Synch, and Copyright & Administration departments with projects as needed

SUMMARY

This is a part-time position of 20-25 hours a week. The position will report to the Controller and provide support to the CFO and all departments of our business. We are seeking a goal- oriented, self-motivated individual to join our team and become a key staff member.

QU ALIFICATIONS

• B.A. from a 4-year undergraduate institution preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience working with Quickbooks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
• Strong organization, problem-solving and analytical skills are needed
• Ability to manage and prioritize work volume
• Highly detail-oriented
