PAC and Political Compliance Manager

Location: Boise, ID, US

As the Micron PAC and Political Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating and managing Micron’s PAC and political compliance programs. In addition, you will assist the government affairs team with political programs and activities designed to protect, support and improve Micron’s global business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a Micron PAC budget and spending plan
  • Work with the Legal department operations team on developing the government affairs budget and tracking performance to budget
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow membership, drive engagement and increase financial contributions for the Micron PAC
  • Work with the Micron communications team and the government affairs team to develop and implement effective communication strategies and plans that increase Micron team member awareness of policy issues impacting the company and Micron PAC and government affairs activities
  • Plan, coordinate and oversee Micron PAC board meetings, solicitation campaigns, fundraising events, team member policy meetings and other government affairs related activities and events at Micron’s U.S. sites
  • Manage Micron PAC financial transactions including recording and verifying contributions and distribution of funds
  • Prepare necessary compliance reports including all required state and federal campaign disclosures and lobbying report and maintain all files and financial records required to fully comply with FEC regulations
  • Work with Micron legal team to develop compliance training plans and materials
  • Create and maintain a Micron government affairs and Micron PAC SharePoint site
  • Assist global government affairs team with preparation of briefing and presentation materials

Qualifications

  • Competitive, energetic and motivated professional with outstanding organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Self-starting individual with ability to take initiative and work independently or collaboratively with other team members
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Experience in filing federal and state campaign finance and lobbying reports a plus
  • Knowledge of election laws, public official gift and entertainment rules, and federal lobbying rules a plus

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, political science or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in PAC administration, financial or compliance management, or fundraising a plus
