P-14 Graphic Designer

Work as part of a design and communications team on major projects affecting the College’s image. Design publications and products using knowledge and expertise of current design application software.

Duties and Responsibilities

Design publications and products using knowledge and expertise of current design application software. Design creative campaigns for the following: enrollment, campus needs, internal projects and thought leadership. Work with in-house clients and outside contractors to facilitate final design products, i.e. Government Community Relations, Education Foundation and/or Presidents Office.

Minimum Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in graphic design or equivalent combination of education and/or considerable experience or training. Should have experience in a design studio, advertising agency, or in-house graphic design shop. Must be able to provide a portfolio of diversified work.

Preferred Qualifications

Be able to multi task and work under pressure with hard deadlines.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must possess current skills in the use of design and illustration software including, but not limited to, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat. Must provide and demonstrate work related to graphic design and layout concepts. Must understand print production techniques. Must have excellent English and communication skills and be able to juggle multiple projects with concurrent deadlines.
