Outside Sales – AL

THIS SALES POSITION WILL REQUIRE RELOCATION TO ONE OF OUR OTHER TERRITORIES WITHIN THE US

AFTER INITIAL TRAINING PERIOD. WE ARE CURRENTLY SOLD IN 40 STATES AND CONTINUE TO GROW.

As you represent Milo’s to current and potential customers, your role will be to increase product and brand awareness while growing sales through grass roots marketing.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Sales Manager for direction of efforts to drive sales through customer events or retail sales opportunities.
  • Effectively work with Store and Department Managers to maximize sales. Seek to identify and communicate with decision makers for product expansion within the store.
  • Provide an immediate response to customer inquiries and positive, courteous service to all customers. Utilize any opportunity to inform and educate consumers about our products and the Milo’s difference.
  • Assist new and current customers regarding proper product rotation, ordering and delivery, and product promotion, which may include organizing demonstrations of products.
  • Assist in training broker or retailers in Milo’s history, the Milo’s Tea Difference and sales opportunities.
  • Work events to grow Brand Awareness and sales as requested or needed which may include overnight stay or weekend work. Have the flexibility to assist and support sales in other territories.
  • Enter requested data on a daily basis to accurately, completely and honestly document all sales visits and other sales activity.
  • Travel as needed, approximately 50% to 100% within the assigned territory.

Requirements:
Education and Experience

All applicants must have either a College Associates (A.A.) or Bachelor’s (B.A.) degree in Sales/ Marketing or equivalent; or a minimum of one to three years in sales in the food and beverage industry; or a combination of education and experience

Have the ability to concentrate, analyze, and demonstrate knowledge of market and competition. Identify external threats and opportunities. Adapt strategy to changing conditions.

Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to be persuasive, speak clearly in both positive and negative situations and respond well to questions. Effectively present information one-on-one or in groups to customers, clients or other employees of the organization.

Have the ability to physically travel to the stores for visits and meetings. Contribute to building a positive team spirit while also being able to react well under pressure.

Detail oriented with knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Other Qualifications:
Valid Driver’s License, Certificates of Insurance indicating personal auto liability limits of $50,000 per accident and a sufficient driving record to be covered under our company automobile insurance and comply with Milo’s safety program.
