OTC Applications Analyst/Developer I

Job Responsibilities:

Under general supervision, applies working knowledge of day to day IT operating environment and techniques utilizing available tools and home grown customer applications. Provides level 2 support services to internal customers while interfacing effectively with customers, vendors and peers. Responsible for expediting resolution of escalated issues and investigating to resolve IT support issues. Defines and constantly improves processes. Participates in training of staff when necessary and applies strong PC/LAN knowledge for daily troubleshooting of issues. Act as liaison between developers and other stakeholders to design, develop and implement products. Provide application administration and support to all stakeholders. Participate on project teams as assigned and identify training requirements of both end-users and support personnel. Participates in software development quality assurance process. Provides basic job training and guidance on a regular basis; performs work of same or closely allied nature. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.

  • Must have excellent personal communication skills
  • Must have excellent Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint skills

Education, Licensure, and Experience:

  • Completion of an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, MIS or similar discipline and through 4 years of Analysis, Design, Programming, Product Selection and/or Maintenance.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Oil Field industry experience
  • Knowledge of Oracle Identity Management processes
  • Previous experience with SalesForce.com or any CRM software products
  • Experience in supporting SAP OTC processes
  • At least two years of experience in supporting software products
  • At least 6 months of experience in collecting business requirements
  • College level programming experience
