Order Entry Representative

AVAD is North America’s premier AV solutions provider – specializing in both residential and commercial integration. We are currently seeking an Order Entry Representative to join our team.

The AVAD Order Entry Representative is the primary contact for processing incoming orders. In this role, you will monitor the incoming orders and ensure they are expedited and completed within five days. Specifically, this includes contacting the client, ensuring payment collection, reviewing and editing orders, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely delivery, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Process customer orders and Sales Order information into the CRM Database
  • Check inventory to make sure requested product are available
  • Compute pricing and apply appropriate discounts
  • Review customer information and verify it is current
  • Check customer accounts for credit and outstanding payments
  • Inform customers of shipping details
  • Send customer delivery information upon shipment
  • Manage open web orders and back-orders
  • Keep the sales team informed of orders in process, back-orders, hold-orders, etc.
  • Leverage internal resources to increase Audio Visual & Consumer Electronics knowledge; stay on top of industry trends that impact retail customer’s business needs

Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years previous sales, customer service, or support experience
  • Knowledge of and a passion for the Consumer Electronics industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Professional, effective telephone communication skills
  • Possesses a high degree of confidence and positive attitude
  • Experience with CRM tools
  • Excellent, professional, effective telephone techniques
  • Strong interpersonal skills to provide customers with exemplary customer service
  • MS Office Suite experience)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $14.00 to $19.00 /hour
