Oracle Software Engineer

Summary:
The position is available in our Englewood, CO office. It requires detailed knowledge of software development principles and practices for Oracle EBS applications. It requires the capability to design, document and develop application solutions based on business requirements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, peers and business partners.

Essential Functions:
Participate in the requirements analysis and design for software applications or sub-components

Code or maintain software applications or sub-components from specifications, perform software troubleshooting and provide problem resolution

Design, Develop and implement the integration with external applications to Oracle EBS

Create documented applications architectures, detail designs, class diagrams, use cases and coding specifications

Participate in testing as identified in the development methodology

Participate in developing project plans with well-defined tasks, deliverables, time estimates and required resources

Support and follow the department’s software development methodologies, standards and procedures

Provide on call assistance as required to support business requirements

Document status reports and records time expended

Education/Experience:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related discipline or foreign degree equivalent

Strong ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through detailed analytical and problem solving capabilities

Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills across all levels of the organization

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities :
5-8 years of experience as a software engineer in development and maintenance of Oracle EBS Applications (ERP and/or CRM and/or HRMS). Very strong development of RICE components

Must also have 5-8 years of experience in total: EBS Version Rel 11i/12 modules (Order Management, Inventory, WIP, AR, AP, GL, and Service Contracts), Oracle Workflow, and Oracle Development Toolset (Forms, Reports, Shell Scripting, PL/SQL and SQL), Applications Schema, AOL and BI Publisher.

Interact with system engineers, business SME’s and end-users to define, design, and develop EBS technology solutions.

Work in a team environment to be a solution provider and be able to support production environment

Preferable Skill Set: 1-2 Years of Development and implementation of BPEL in a Oracle SOA environment, OAF, ADF and Java
