Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Required Qualifications:

5-10 years of experience as Team Lead/Senior Developer working in Oracle PL/SQL

Extensive experience with database development tools (Oracle, Toad), ETL and integration technologies

Experience in developing metadata driven application frameworks

Experience developing large scale systems

Experience developing interfaces to Oracle or other SQL-based databases

Experience working in controlled development, testing and production environments

Experience in Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, PL/SQL, ETL processing

Familiarity with development toolkits & source repositories (TFS), SQL interpreters (TOAD), IDEs (.Net), etc.

Sound understanding of RDBMS

Strong written and oral communication skills

Excellent problem-solving and quantitative skills

Aptitude for debugging problems in complex, unfamiliar code

Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team

Solid work ethic, self-driven with the ability to work with minimal supervision

Desired Qualifications:

Subject matter expertise in Compliance Technology Financial Services

Basic understanding of finance, fixed income securities and derivatives

Experience additional programming and scripting languages (Java, C#/.Net, Shell , Perl, Python )

Experience using Agile-based methodologies within a software development function

Experience delivering market risk and credit risk systems is a plus

Experience in Big Data technologies (Hadoop/Spark/HBase etc.)

Education Required :
