In this role you will be responsible for Installing and upgrading the Oracle server and application tools upon an existing project management information system implementation and guaranteeing product adoption for our client by working closely with them throughout the entire implementation lifecycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oracle Certified Professional will be responsible for the development and upgrading of scripts, interfaces and workflows using Rapid SQL, APIs, Reports, Forms, Enhancements, and PL/SQL programs to enhance and upgrade project modules related to construction projects. The developer will also perform ongoing support of systems once upgraded. The role will include writing documentation, troubleshooting, and testing. The developer will work closely with the Functional Team to identify the best technical solution. The developer will submit, and prioritizes business system changes for enhancement of the system. The developer will work side-by-side with implementation team to deliver a comprehensive solution that integrates different technologies using the software development lifecycles. The application platform used to perform the upgrade is Oracle P6 Primavera Project Professional Management (PPM) and Primavera Contract Manager (PCM). This is an onsite position for a full time or part-time person

Responsibilities:

-Involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including database tables, front end master data, and bug fixes

-Work with other Application Development Teams, QA Testers, Engineering, Architecture, Release Management and Operations as needed to help with successful project delivery

-Work closely with the DBA help integrate services and interfaces

-Must know how to do performance tuning of code and queries

-Conduct analysis of business issues and challenges

-Develop Technical Documentation for all project types

-Participate in defining technical solutions to solve complex, multidisciplinary business problems with long-term implications

-Develop conversions, upgrades, interfaces, reports, forms, and workflows

-Train junior developer on code and queries

-Work with end-users to define and execute test scenarios and ensure appropriate end user training

-Displays strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate to all levels

Experience :

-Oracle Certified Professional

-BS degree in a technical field

-10 years of experience working as a developer

-5-6 years of experience with large implementation or upgrade projects

-Intermediate knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6 or Contract Manager

-Strong technical writing skills

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
