Oracle EBS-Software Engineer Level 2

Summary:
The position is available in our Englewood, CO office. It requires detailed knowledge of software development principles and practices for Oracle EBS applications. It requires the capability to design, document and develop application solutions based on business requirements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, peers and business partners.

Essential Functions:
Development and Implementation of the Integrations in Oracle EBS R12 and higher versions including the integration with external applications, development of Unix scripts and encompassing all RICE elements

Participate in the requirements analysis and design for software applications or sub-components

Code or maintain software applications or sub-components from specifications, perform software troubleshooting and provide problem resolution

Participate in creating documented applications architectures, detail designs, class diagrams, use cases and coding specifications

Participate in testing as identified in the development methodology

Create appropriate documentation

Participate in developing project plans with well-defined tasks, deliverables, time estimates and required resources

Perform software troubleshooting and provides problem resolution

Support and follow the department’s software development methodologies, standards and procedures

Participate and may facilitate code walk – through to ensure code standards are applied and maintained

Provide production support and is available on call as required to support business requirements

Document status reports and records time expended

Perform other duties as required

Participate in the requirements analysis and design for software applications or sub-components

Perform other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related discipline or foreign degree equivalent

Strong ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through detailed analytical and problem solving capabilities

Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills across all levels of the organization

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
2- years experience as software engineer in development and maintenance of Oracle EBS Applications (ERP and/or CRM and/or HRMS).

Must also have 2 years experience in total: EBS Version Rel 11i/12 modules (Order Management, Inventory, WIP, AR, AP, GL, and Service Contracts), Oracle Workflow, and Oracle Development Toolset (Forms, Reports, Shell Scripting, PL/SQL and SQL), Applications Schema, AOL and BI Publisher. Experience may be gained concurrently.

Interact with functional experts and end-users to define, design, and participate in development.

Work in a team environment and be able to support production environment

Preferable Skill Set: 1-2 Years of Development and implementation of BPEL in a Oracle SOA environment, OAF, ADF and Java
