Operations/Implementation Project Manager

Fast-paced start-up founded by a student, the founders of Redbox and Zappos, and the President of Warner Bros is looking for an Operations/Implementation Project Manager to support the executive team.

We’re doing to the printer what Nest did to the thermostat. And we’re adding the cloud. The net sum is replacing Kinkos, first at schools and then in the mainstream.

We built from scratch the most ecofriendly and intelligent printer in history. We believe in making a big change by correcting inefficiencies in things that are widely used. This is in contrast to building things that have big impact on only a small set of niche users. We feel the net impact is much greater this way, and the problems addressed are more important.

We’re not the “cool kids” building an app for other “cool kids.”

As Implementation Project Manager, you will preside over product deployments domestically. You will be the driving force at Ink ensuring flawless execution of implementation of software services to the client and the prompt and efficient delivery of physical assets. The Implementation Project Manager coordinates and prioritizes project tasks, manages timelines, maintains project plans and ensures the flawless execution of product deployments.The implementation manager works with clients and travels on-site to ensure the project is implemented within contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.

• Ability to manage multiple clients and projects/tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to command a group of individuals in a room quickly and be assertive in a public environment
• Strong internal communication skills including ability to work with all levels of the organization (development, sales, marketing, operations and within the Professional Services Group).
• Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment in a team and individually.
• Strong focus on team environment.
• Troubleshooting is another required skill; responsibility for detecting potential issues and implementing solutions when issues threaten to delay the timeline or impact budget or business operations.
• Ensuring delivery according to project timelines in order to ensure revenue recognition according to forecast.
• Configuration: Configure the application based on implementation plan (This does not require knowledge of any development language)
• Presentation Skills: Provide on-line meetings and conference calls to orientate a new client, present new functionality, perform training, and collaborate with clients about concerns.
• Project Management: Responsible for providing Engagement Managers and/or clients with updated implementation plans, which may include project schedules, project plans, benchmark metrics, communications documents, follow-up memo’s, etc.
• Documentation: Responsible for utilizing (and creating) documents/deliverables necessary for providing exceptional services and ensuring communication of the project plan to the Engagement Manager and/or client.
