Operations Specialist I

Operations Support Specialist Opportunity Overview

As an Operations Support Specialist you will provide exceptional customer service, perform function-specific, day-to-day operations tasks, and review requirements of Systems Administration and Support, and User Access. Support branches through review and documentation of multiple critical functions. Provide Bank staff with training and respond to inquiries on complex functions for procedures, applications, and access.

As an Operations Support Specialist II with Banner Bank you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide telephone and e-mail support to internal customers
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and incorporate them with positive results
  • Participate in critical, bank wide problem solving project
  • Comply with policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulation
  • Provide Bank staff with training and respond to inquiries on complex functions for procedures, applications, and access

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Certifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate’s degree in a related discipline preferred

Experience

  • 1 or more years of previous clerical, bank and/or client service experience with retail banking or operations exposure required
  • 3 or more years of experience preferred

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated customer service, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proven organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring critical deadlines are met
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Working knowledge of personal computers; proficient in MS Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook
