Operations Analyst

What is the opportunity?

To assist in balancing with AM balancing staff as well as working with the afternoon staff on all exchange traded and OTC exchange cleared contracts making sure they are properly cleared and allocated according to customer and proprietary trader instructions in accordance with Exchange rules and regulations.

What will you do?

Assist with AM RBCCM balancing to exchanges and carry brokers

Work with middle office software and exchange clearing systems to claim and allocate trades

Research and resolve trade discrepancies and respond to customer queries

Ensure proper position reporting and exchange open interest

Supply global support to other regional Op’s clearing teams

Input trades

Process exercise and assignments on option positions

Process position transfers

Work with Front Office in identifying and resolving processing issues

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Required in Finance or a related subject

In depth knowledge of futures operations input and exchange clearing interfaces

A working knowledge of the Ion RISC system, Clearvision, Prysm and Exchange clearing applications

Minimum 4 years experience working in the futures industry operations department for an FCM.

Effective oral and written communication skills
