Online Personal Shopper

This position is responsible for selecting the finest groceries and other products as specified and ordered by customers, ensuring items are handled with care and special attention is given to perishable and other delicate items to minimize damage to products and maintain shelf life for our customer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The following description of work to be performed by this individual is not intended to be all-inclusive. Rather, it focuses on the major tasks that must be accomplished. There are many necessary activities to satisfy any of the following performance guidelines.

• Greet and provide assistance to customers. Model the Lund Food Holdings customer service standards at all times.
• Carefully select and package orders to customer’s specifications. Follows company guidelines to make sure proper packaging and the level of care and attention is taken when processing orders to minimize damaged and/or distressed products.
• Review orders to ensure correct items are selected with special attention to detail of the order such as customer notes, weight, volume, color, flavor, size, etc.
• Notify customer of item(s) not in stock and ask if they would like a substituted item
• Immediately notify supervisor or appropriate management of issues that surface, which may impact the ability to fulfill orders on time as scheduled.
• Maintain confidentiality of all e-shopping records and other related company documents, reports and information.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Education

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent

2. Licensing Required: None

3. Experience

• Previous grocery, culinary or food service experience required or the equivalent.

4. Other required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• A service-oriented individual with a high energy, positive and friendly demeanor
• Knowledge of grocery products, gourmet foods and culinary items.
• Reading, writing, interpreting, compares and contrasts orders size recognition as well as volume, weights, etc. for accurate order selection.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English
