POSITION OVERVIEW**

We are seeking an office clerk to help manage the facility, clerical, meeting operations and general office support for our associates at our Chicago Corporate Office. The right candidate for this position should exemplify our corporate culture in that they are energetic, responsive, well-organized and personable. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Serving the Chicago Corporate Office associates as the main resource for office supplies, inventory, facilities management and general trouble-shooting. This will include, but not limited to monitoring and stocking large production areas, keeping common areas stocked and cleaned, etc.
  • Managing mail room; sorting and distributing all incoming deliveries including UPS shipment services.
  • Acting as main point of contact for in meeting set-up and breakdown including beverage, space and technical needs.
  • Handling postage machine and processing for all Ziegler offices. Serve as a central resource for ordering of general office needs for other offices.
  • Maintaining and building vendor relationships.
  • Assisting in reception coverage, answering incoming calls and redirecting to appropriate associates.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS**

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years of professional office experience; ideally in a financial services, consulting, or legal environment
  • Strong client orientation, experience in customer service a plus

PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS**

This position will work within a small office services team and require the following skills:

  • Excellent verbal communication and guest relations skills
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects
  • Experience in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with multi-line phone systems
  • Dependable and well organized
