Office Assistant (Order Fulfillment)

We are an established jewelry manufacturer and wholesaler, currently headquartered in Manhattan, New York. We sell primarily to department stores, warehouse buying clubs and jewelry chains in the US as well as internationally. Our jewelry product lines include several collections based on pearls, precious and semi-precious stones.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and logistics savvy person to join our team in the Order Fulfillment & Shipping area.

Job Responsibilities:

• Daily receiving of electronic orders (thought EDI & and Fishbowl Inventory System)
• Pull daily orders for all customers
• Pull and pack all “in stock” items for small customers and flash site events
• Work with production to make sure any styles needed is created by deadlines
• Process domestic and international shipments on time.
• Fulfill Sales and Transfer orders using our inventory software (Fishbowl)
• Log and verify all returns of merchandise from customers
• Order shipping & packing supplies as needed
• Resolve all shipping issues
• Assist with packing large orders
• Assist with technical issues as they arise
• Work with accounting department to resolve any invoicing issues
• Assist with any trade show packing and log all styles leaving the building
• Work with jeweler in getting any pieces cleaned in time for ship deadline
• Update both public and personal calendars with all sales orders, transfer orders & any memos
