NSG FP&A / Strategic Capacity Planning Analyst

Job Description

The position supports Intel’s memory capacity planning and investment, forecasting long-term cost structure, leading profitability initiatives and is critical to maximizing Intel’s return on invested capital. Responsible for providing various levels of advice and financial information to operational business groups or factories to drive decision-making processes. Additionally, this senior FP&A analyst regularly performs scenario analysis to inform & affect Intel MCM-level discussion, long-term strategic planning decisions, JV business plans.

This role will report to Intel’s Senior Finance Officer at IMFT. The NSG SCP/FP&A Analyst has frequent opportunities to collaborate, inform and align with colleagues and managers across several operations, planning and finance organizations. Key business partners include the business groups for storage and memory, NSG’s Directors of Supply Chain and Technology Development, IM Flash Finance and the Co-CEO of IMFT.


A successful candidate should possess the below behavioral traits:

  • Proficient in dissecting key factors in an analysis, efficiently assess materiality, exercise acumen to proactively detect incoming data quality problems or analytical biases.
  • Experience partnering with senior operations and finance management.
  • Capable of framing strategic decisions and influencing at senior levels.
  • Team player with a bias for action, attention to detail, and track record of project management, making & keeping commitments with limited direction.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or MBA
  • 2+ years of professional expertise in financial modeling (P&L, DCF, ROIC, trade-offs) of varying scenarios and sensitivities to drive decisions & behavior; advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience partnering with senior operations and finance management
