Night Auditor

Position Summary:

Responsible for the auditing and verification of all revenue transactions process during the day in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

 Audit all revenue transactions for techniques consistency, and methods used to meet hotel’s standards and local policies and procedures. Examine all the transactions for accuracy and ensure the trials tally is correct.

 Review “Rate Segment Report” (Rate Check) to ensure that all occupied rooms have genuine room rate as per Minimum Rate and post room revenue accordingly

 Control and reconcile the daily sales in the outlets.

 Audit and post all F&B areas revenues and all other hotel revenue generated and ensure the accuracy.

 Audit GSA daily work for accuracy and audit the credit card transactions for accuracy.

 Check the authenticity of all FO paid outs/rebates and outlet rebates and verify for accuracy.

 Audit all administrative PM folios and lost interface posting charges.

 Responsible for the entire shift front office functions and procedures.

 Perform other duties as may be required by management.

Requirements:

 Ability to work independently, prioritize work

 Lift and carry approximately thirty (30) pounds

 Excellent oral and written communication skills

 Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ten-key calculator

 Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to take initiative and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

 Ideal candidate must have relevant degree or diploma in Finance or Hospitality/Tourism management and minimum 2 years work experience as Accounting Clerk.

Essential Functions:

 Position requires the availability to work flexible days Monday through Sunday including holidays.
