U.S. Bank is seeking an effective Network Operations Center Analyst with file transfer and operations center experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives.

  • Primary responsibility to provide tier 1 support by receipt of inbound calls from external customers regarding their inbound/outbound file transfers.
  • Diagnoses and resolves IT incidents related to external and internal file transfers. Manages production systems to ensure customers have the files needed and processed to run their business operations. Works with technical support and business line groups to troubleshoot issues with transfer protocols, file integrity and system outages.
  • Demonstrates the sense of urgency and commitment required for the success of a 24/7 operation. Serves as a technical resource for less experienced team members. Collaborates with other IT staff in developing solutions to known problems to ensure the availability of production and on-line systems.
  • Understands Mainframe, CA7, Sterling File Gateway application system errors, logs and takes corrective action. Completes appropriate forms or processes for customer requests. Works to maintain service level expectations.
  • Applies the policies, procedures, and precedent cases related to the services offered through the Network Operations Center. Defines and communicates general, technical, and operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Documents Network Operations Center standards, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year experience with a data center operating environment, day-to-day operational requirements, and the operation of production systems and equipment.

Preferred Skills/Experience

Working experience in:

  • IT environment
  • IT standards, procedures, policy
  • IT service management (ITSM)

Extensive experience in:

  • Customer Service
  • IT incident management
  • Technical writing
