Network Engineer

Skills Required

Understanding of L2 switching and L3 routing protocols OSPF, RIP, BGP, multicast, MPLS (L3 VPN, L2 VPN, VPLS, preferably from a provider point of view).

Understanding of Wireless technologies and devices (CAPWAP, WLC, FlexConnect, etc.)

Device platforms including Juniper, Cisco, Arista, Cylades, BNT, Client etc

Scripting experience (shell, PERL, Python, etc)

Project management/coordination (optional)

Experience with network automation/orchestration tools/frameworks is preferred.

Skills Desired: –

Ability to use applications, Word, Excel, Visio and Power Point.

Proficient in UNIX or Linux will be a huge plus.

Ability to find ways to minimize the turnaround time efficiently.
