.Net/SQL Developer

JOB SUMMARY: Forward thinking, team player with a focus on continuous improvement to help modernize IAS business critical applications. Develop & maintain .NET / Angular 2 web applications to support organizational objectives. This role requires excellent technical & communication skills in working with both business & IT staff to understand business requirements and translate them into working, modern solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned as necessary.):

• Analysis, design, & development of modern .NET C# & VB.net Web applications and API’s
• Design & Development of responsive UI’s with Angular 2
• Maintenance of legacy VB.NET Web & Windows applications
• Design, development, documenting and publishing of API’s and interfaces
• Actively participating in daily standup meetings, whiteboard design sessions, team meetings
• Development of solutions in accordance with standards set forth by Management encompassing all aspects of application and database architecture.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support to end users or other IT staff when necessary

This person will be part of an application development team working with an offsite DBA to support our current systems and develop new solutions for IAS internal and external customers.

This person will assist in driving new .NET development/architecture and applying Agile principles where appropriate in modernizing IAS applications, systems and processes

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.

Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related area; five (5) or more years experience in .NET and two (2) years in Angular framework.

VMware is a plus. Adept at conducting research into software-related issues and products Ability to independently learn, understand, and apply new technologies Organized and logical with the ability to communicate well and follow instructions; ability to work independently and with others in an efficient manner; troubleshooting skills.
