NET Web Developer

Full Stack .NET Developer

Are you looking for a work environment where you can be creative and put your ideas and talents to good use, while also having the opportunity to acquire new skills? Our team is in need of a .NET developer for a range of in-house projects. Your work would focus on backend functionality and logic. However, some general “front end” work will also be required. Candidates must be able to work independently as well as with other developers and departments.

Applicant will be required to perform tasks which include, but not limited to:

Design, develop, and test various web projects/applications

Participate in user interface design sessions, recommending and applying user interface principles, content organization, page flows, interaction design and navigation schemes

Analyze existing applications to modify/improve application code and/or create enhancements

Work using, and provide guidance on web standards and best practices (semantic markup, security, accessibility, unobtrusive scripting, etc.).

Required skills:

3+ years experience with C#/Visual Studio 2000+, including MVC, and Web Services.

3+years experience using SQL server 2009+, including complex stored procedures

Experience with HTML/CSS; PHP; Javascript and JSON

Knowledge of IIS

Experience working with underlying MS SQL or PostgreSQL databases

Experience using version control systems

Strong aptitude for user interface design and usability

Unit testing/test-driven development background

Strong written and oral communication and documentation skills

Excellent time management, adaptability, and strong attention to detail

Desired Skills:

Experiencing building and consuming JSON-based REST API Services

Experience with entity framework is a plus

Experience working in an agile software development environment
