.NET / Web Developer

At SIF, you’ll be a key member of a dynamic team of IT professionals furthering the success of our web-based applications and creating great experiences for our end users. If you have exceptional web development skills, and you have a passion for building high-quality software in a cross-functional environment, please read on ! You’ll be responsible for:

Primary development support for SIF’s customer, agent, and medical provider enterprise website application as well as other .NET applications.

Collaborating with stakeholders regarding project definition, schedule, scope, and project-related decisions.

Providing best-in-class web experiences that are created with tried, trusted, and tested web development practices and techniques.

Working with web designers to create a positive experience design for a diverse group of users as part of a new website project. Providing integration expertise of the new website design with the legacy website .

Your background should include:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or an equivalent technical discipline OR the equivalent combination of education and experience.

A minimum of three years of experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Demonstrated ability to work independently to prioritize, organize, and deliver effective, on-time results from an established set of tasks.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex web experiences to individuals and groups of wide backgrounds and experiences.

Strong attention to detail with a passion for quality in all aspects of your work .

Additionally, if you have experience or knowledge in any of the following areas, please indicate in your resume or cover letter:

Documentum (CMS), Aspose, JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Kendo and AngularJS), Oracle and SQL Server databases are a plus.

Insurance industry (especially workers compensation).

Dynamic web content solutions or concepts.
