Title: Back End .Net Lead Applications Developer

Location: Oshkosh, WI

Extensive experience with C# and asp.NET required. Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret various types of business documents. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches, and articles in a pre-designed style and format. Ability to effectively respond to complex inquiries from clients, co-workers, supervisor, and/or management. Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills. Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Working knowledge of all phases of a system cycle. Looking for someone that is strong in the Application and Database layers of Development (backend). Visual Studio 2015, C#, SQL 2016, Entity Framework 6.0, LINQ, T-SQL. We prefer to have this position work on-site in Oshkosh, WI for the next 6 months.

SUMMARY The Contract Developer position will help Defense IT build innovative solutions to emerging Business information challenges. This person will be working on a team of 5-10 Developers and Business Analysts to enhance and provide additional functionality to a custom .Net Application. This position is expected to be influential in the solution design and development and to raise new ideas and concerns when appropriate.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities

1. Work with Business Analysts to understand business functional requirements.

2. Offer recommendations on User Interface Design that meets the functional requirements but that can be done as efficient and effective as possible. Should utilize existing tools and framework wherever possible.

3. Provide hour estimates for development work.

4. Write application code per development standards that meet functional and non-functional requirements. Meet timelines and hour estimates that were provided to the project team.

5. Perform Unit Testing. Fix any errors found during testing cycles.

6. Collaborate with the entire Project Team.

7. Assist other team members as needed.

Expectations

1. Participate in design meetings and offer input to help shape design to meet Customer needs.

2. Participate in code reviews.

3. Work with the Systems Analyst and IT infrastructure team for technical framework needs.

4. Support the Oshkosh Methodology especially in the Software Development phases of Technical Design, Build and Unit Test.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 7 years of object-oriented and web experience

• User Interface Design o Javascript o Knockout.js o Bootstrap 3.0 o jQuery o HTML5 o CSS
