Notes: 70 W2 rates No Corp to Corp

The Application Developer will provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing within the framework of the NetOxygen Mortgage Lending application. These business needs can include everything from small bug fixes, cost saving enhancements, or large regulatory compliance updates. The Developer will participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze and outline proposed IT solutions. The individual will translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications, and then use those specifications for development.

Responsibilities:

Design, code, test, debug, implement and support the NetOxygen Mortgage Lending application in a Microsoft web-based environment
Participate in design meetings and determine the best solution to business requirements or support issues based on work effort and cost
Strong ability to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications
Strong ability to work and communicate as part of a small development team
Provide regular status updates on assigned projects
Identify technical risks and issues associated with assigned tasks and coordinate resolution with internal IT organization and 3rd party vendors
Work with outside vendors to maintain and update external custom interfaces with NetOxygen Mortgage Lending application.
Execute day to day programming and production support activities under the direction of your supervisor
Able to merge our custom code with any new releases provided by vendor
Convert and refactor existing code from Javascript/VBScript into optimized C# scripts
Design and build Crystal Reports
Analyze, identify, and troubleshoot issues encountered in production and/or reported by users by investigation and conducting in-depth research and debugging code
Able to work within a defined SDLC

Qualifications:

General Skills:

B.S. in Computer Science or similar, experience may be substituted for education
Strong technical understanding of programming and programming concepts
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience supporting anenterprise wide system/application
Excellent customer focus and effective communication skills
Mortgage Industry Experience a plus

Key Technical Skills / Experience:

4+ years of experience in developing web-based applications
4+ years of experience working with Visual Basic, C# .Net, and JavaScript
Experience with Visual Studio 2013 and Team Foundation Server 2013
Experience with SQL Server 2012, SQL queries, and Stored Procedures
Experience designing Crystal Reports
Experience with web services and XML
Proficient in MS Office products
Development experience with NetOxygen application (or other Loan Origination System) is a plus
Sharepoint experience a plus
