Music Scoring and Production Business Development

df|Music Group is home to an Emmy Nominated and Multi-award winning composer and production company for Film, TV, Games and Commercials. We are looking to grow our custom music scoring and sound design company.

We are seeking an experienced, motivated and driven business development/marketing/sales/administrative candidate(s) to partner and help explode our sales and success in the Film, TV and Game production area.

The ideal candidate would leverage our decades-long track record, recognition, credits and offerings into acquiring major custom scoring and sound design projects for Film/TV/Trailers/Games/Commercials etc.

Please note this is a business/administrative role. This is NOT a composer/production or music position.

Strategic with vision to see the big picture while focusing on the tactical execution
A person who has deep connections or a rolodex of industry contacts and the ability to network to help meet the organizations objectives
A person who is equally comfortable selling and closing AND managing multiple projects and activities
A person who has the ability to work with broad industry personnel at various levels
Multi-disciplined

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Relevant Industry Sales Experience: 5 years
Music Business (sync/licensing/placement/production): 2+ years
Must be in the Greater Los Angeles Area (accessible to the major studios, etc.)
High-Level Experience in contract negotiation
Familiar with the production and post-production process
4 Year Degree OR equivalent industry experience
Technologically proficient with MS Office, Adobe and Apple Productivity Software
Creatively write compelling proposals, content and copy
Schedule and manage meetings
Generate, track, manage and execute against leads
Build and pitch business presentations, value propositions and close
