Multicultural Marketing Coordinator – International Business Affairs

Golf’s global platform, the PGA TOUR, presently has an opportunity for a Multicultural Marketing Coordinator in our International Business Affairs department. This position will take the role of assisting in the development and execution of the PGA TOUR’s multicultural marketing plans and execution.

Qualifications:
Two or more years’ experience in public relations and marketing, preferably with an emphasis in sports and sporting events.

Demonstrated experience in multicultural marketing

Project management skills and experience

Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work across functions

Demonstrated knowledge of the Hispanic and multicultural media landscape

Bilingual – English/Spanish

Bachelor’s degree or higher

Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills

Responsibilities will include:
Providing ideas for the strategic development of and supporting the execution of the TOUR’s multicultural marketing plans.

Supporting the deployment and administration of a targeted marketing plan aimed specifically at the US Hispanic demographic.

Seeking opportunities to promote the initiative through public relations efforts, conferences, etc. This will occasionally entail attending events as an official representative of the TOUR for media purposes.

Managing the Marketing / Communications Hispanic player activation program.

Coordinating internal, tournament and player task forces to support the initiative.

Managing digital content where necessary.

Managing an editorial calendar that includes milestone events for the US Hispanic initiative.

Compiling daily clippings packet of media concerning the US Hispanic demographic.

Coordinating consistent messaging between the US Hispanic initiative and the broader Marketing Communications function.
