Mid Level Software Developer

Description:

The position of Software Developer providing computer software support for information systems automation research and development (R&D) for virtualized simulation systems, networks and related software development activities. The position will be responsible to develop software to automate installation/configuration/maintenance of various R&D operating systems, virtual machine environments, software and hardware network switch/router/vpn configurations, developing simple, coding level flow charts, documentation of networked and network systems configurations, and code-assigned segments of a program using scripting and/or other programming languages. Assists in developing test routines and data. Work closely with the Technical Leads to ensure a complete integration of all solutions. This position will provide significant support configuring a development group local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN), monitoring, testing, analyzing and maintaining multiple development operating system platforms including many virtualized systems and virtualization software. Assists in the development, configuration, installation, and R&D for maintenance of a development network system to include the LAN/WAN.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in CS or related field.

Active Secret Clearance.

Minimum/General Experience: 4 or more years’ experience performing analysis and coding in the design and implementation of software applications for computer-based systems. Must have or have ability to obtain Secret clearance.
