Corporate Development Analyst

Reports to Chief Development Officer Austin, TX

Pathway Vet Alliance is a Morgan Stanley Global Private Equity portfolio company and a leading veterinary management organization overseeing operations for over 140 hospitals in the US. We are currently seeking an Analyst to join our team. The Analyst will play a key role in executing transactions to achieve our growth target.

Responsibilities · Research and analyze potential acquisitions; gain thorough understanding of seller’s financials, operations, competition, facilities, etc. · Conduct market analysis of targeted geographic areas · Build financial and forecast models · Prepare presentation materials and reports for team leaders, acquisition targets, the board, and lenders · Participate in due diligence process · Organize transaction files and perform other administrative duties to support transactions Qualifications · 1 year of experience in accounting, investment banking, or similar role within a corporate development team (preference given to those with healthcare M&A experience) · BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics or related field (preference given to those with Accounting degree) · Strong analytical and financial modeling skills · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Exceptional Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) · Professional integrity and discretion in handling confidential information · Highly organized and able to pay close attention to detail · Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines at one time · Some travel required
