The Senior Product Owner – Payment Authorizations role will be a key driver for the future landscape and expansion of our Build the Bank Initiative. This includes designing the product solution, approach, processes and tracking measures from the ground up.

In addition, the Sr. Product Manager will work with other members of the Product organization across the various lines of business to develop and execute the product roadmap necessary to make Merchant Services the leading and preferred payment network for merchants for payment transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Key contributor in the development of future products and services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across lines of business to understand merchant/client needs, changes in industry landscape etc., and help drive solutions that are meaningful to all LOB’s.
  • Develop, adapt, and convey the Product Vision and Roadmap
  • Working with internal teams to ensure materials that support products are accurately updated and available to internal and external users.
  • Assist in ensuring that projects are completed in accordance with all Risk, Architecture and other relevant firm- wide guidelines. Coordinates resources (staff, equipment, vendors and consultants) across projects to ensure successful launch of project at completion.
  • Contribute to the financial success of product outcome, involved in pricing strategy for product/services.
  • Identify issues quickly, escalate and bring to closure of the success of the project and client experience.
  • Responsible for coaching and mentoring less experienced team members.
  • Product support for Internal teams for products covered , including some training as well as one-on-one review
  • Be Aware of and align with company and organizational business strategies
  • Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred
  • Agile development methodology required
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in product management/development in a product focused organization
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed organization
  • Strong background in payments including acquiring/acceptance/payment processing and/or digital payments
  • Computer science / systems development knowledge
  • Background in product development processes and project management processes
  • Payments industry and/or cloud-based product experience required.
  • General business strategy acumen
  • Talent for communication of complex business topics
  • Expertise in collaborating and leading multi-faceted teams
