Our urgent clinic offers extended hours and top-of-the-line equipment, including on-site digital x-ray equipment and comprehensive laboratory services.

We are currently searching for a Patient Oriented and Computer Savvy Medical Scribe to join our Cure Team!

Who We’re Looking For:

• Collage graduate or in lieu of education at least 1 year of experience in similar role
• Passionate about learning, healthcare and patient well-being
• Good eye for detail to spot mistakes/inconsistencies in medical documentation
• Possess superior understanding of Medical language and terminology
• Well acquainted with anatomy, physiology, diagnostic procedures, pharmacology and treatment assessments
• Type 55 words per minute minimum.
• Proven mathematical skills and ability to compute ratios and percent
• Strong technical skills such as, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
• HIPAA understanding
• Great References

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Accompany and shadow physician to transcribe patient history, physical examination and all other requested documents accurately
• Understand and translate medical abbreviations into their expanded form
• List all proper diagnoses and symptoms; type follow-up instructions and prescriptions as dictated by physician
• Faxing, filing and other clerical duties as needed
• Cover front desk, verify insurance and register patients
• Perform medical assistant duties such as vitals, and office test
• Coordinate and prioritize patient support with Medical Team using a 4-line phone system
• Always safeguard and maintain patient confidentiality by abiding to company policy and HIPAA regulation
• At times, there may be physical requirements to lift and move boxes, equipment and other medical components
• Assist and support Cure Team in administrative functions from time to time ensuring patient well-being and satisfaction

Salary: $15.00 to $20.00 /hour
