We are looking for applicants will have previous mechanical engineering experience in an industrial plant environment.

You should be qualified to a minimum ONC or HND ideally obtained through a recognized craft apprenticeship or modern apprenticeship scheme. Applicants will have an appreciation of the techniques, problems and standards associated with

steel or related engineering disciplines.

Some of the key attributes we are looking for in applicants include:

A knowledge of statistical and problem solving techniques, with computer literacy and good oral

and written communication skills.

In depth knowledge of Permit and Authorisation to Work Systems

Ideally IOSH qualified

Understanding of HR processes/procedures.

Legislative Ownership (PSSR, PUWER, LOLER)

Understanding of contractor governance.

Ability to project manage small improvement SRE/CAPEX projects.

Continuous improvement techniques.

Ability to develop RA/SWP’s and manage safe systems of work.

Proven skills & knowledge in relevant discipline
