Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to create drawings and technical data packages for design concepts and completed designs
• Ability to support mechanical design with analysis, and calculations to ensure mechanical performance (strength/rigidity etc.) meets performance requirements
• Research and select material types based upon application and range of performance requirements
• Strong computer aided design (CAD) skills, preferably with PTC Creo (Pro-E) and AutoCAD
• CAD Proficiency in designing and in converting drawing markups into working CAD drawings.
• Perform project tasks in allocated time frame according to the work plan
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, 3D printing, and injection molding is a strong plus

Requirements:

· BS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.

· 1-5 years of experience

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Project)

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· This position requires the selected candidate to hold an active Department of Defense Secret level security clearance which requires US citizenship while working in support of a government contract.
